Basalt stones, also known as lava stones, are extensively used in massage therapies. The stones are specially selected and are grinded to precise shapes and sizes to match the anatomical requirements of the body. These stones retain heat as they are tempered by hot lava before they solidify and this property allows them to be used therapeutically. Basalt stones are sourced from the quarries of the rich, volcanic Sahayadri Mountain ranges or from Indonesia. They are then are cleaned and grinded to perfection.
